Gemological Laboratory of the International Institute of Classification and diamond research (International Institute of Diamond Grading and Research , IIDGR), owned by De Beers, has signed a partnership agreement with the British National Jewelers Association (National Association of Jewellers, NAJ) , under which it will offer to members of the organization preferences in their laboratories on the territory of the United Kingdom.
"By working with organizations such as the NAJ, IIDGR laboratory hopes to bring stability, accuracy and increased safety in the diamond sector," - said the president IIDGR Jonathan Kendall (Jonathan Kendall).

Company Lucapa Diamond Company and its partners announced that it has sold the party alluvial diamonds weighing 1,862 carats from the Lulo diamond project (Lulo) in Angola for 2.9 million Australian dollars ($ 2.1 million).
