Diamcor Mining said it had received a license for the use of water from the Department of Water and Sanitation (Department of Water and Sanitation) in South Africa to support the long-term mining operations of diamonds on her site Krohn-Endora (Krone-Endora) Venice Project (Venetia).
The license is valid for 15 years.
This license allows Diamcor extract 410,148 cubic meters of water from the seven wells, allowing the project to be able to achieve the target level of processing of rock 300 000 tonnes per month.
"License Grant was the culmination of years of efforts in the ongoing promotion of our project and the means to achieve another important milestone in reducing the risks associated with the development of the diamond project. Most importantly, we will have at their disposal water to maintain long-term target processing level perspective rocks at the processing enterprises of the project ", - said General Director Diamcor Din Teylor (Dean Taylor).
He added that now the company will focus on the completion of construction of additional infrastructure in order to maintain the license, which will be completed in the current fiscal quarter.
Diamcor also expects that after the creation of the infrastructure associated with the license, additional water will allow it to complete the testing and evaluation of the full target design capacity of processing enterprises.
